About
The first Northern Region Junior Qualifier for 2020 is the Ingham Junior Squash Championships and will be hosted at the Ingham Squash Club on the 19th and 20th October 2019.
The 2019 Ingham Junior Squash Championship is a Bronze regional junior tournament.
Players need to compete in both compulsory tournaments in Mackay and Cairns and either Ingham or Townsville tournaments to be eligible for selection on the Northern Region Redbacks team, which will compete in the Queensland regional teams event at the 2020 Queensland Junior Championships (QJC).
Games may be scheduled for Friday evening for available players. Otherwise players are expected to be available between 8:30 am and 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday except with prior approval.
The Ingham Junior Squash Championships will commence at 8.30am sharp on both days. Players are to be present and checked in with Tournament Control 30 MINUTES before the scheduled time of their match. Game scheduling is an estimate of game times. Please be aware we will be "following on".
The tournament promises to be a fun event for all junior players.
FREE Saturday Night dinner will be provided by the Northern Region.

Continuing on from the success of the 2019 season, Northern Region Tournaments will include:
1) Two tiers – an aged championship, alongside a novice graded competition.
This will encourage and inspire new players to the sport and tournaments.
2) Doubles team nominations & matches for Aged Championship Players only.
ENTRY FEES:
Aged Championship Entry Fee - 1 Event $45, 2 Events $60
Doubles (for Aged Championship Players only) - $10
Novice (Player's eligibility will be determined by the Tournament Director) - $15 Affiliated, $30 Unaffiliated
Minimum of 3 matches.
