Glencoe Club Thirsty Thursdays

Rules & Expectations for playing in the Thirsty Thursdays Team League

It is the responsibility of each player to ensure that they are present and ready to play, a spare has been called or they have phoned another member of their team to play twice.
If another member of the team does play twice they can only count their scheduled match in the results.

To get a spare, feel free to ask David Duncalf for contact details or for the ‘spares list’.
Otherwise please contact someone else who you know plays squash at a similar level as you.

The Thirsty Thursday League is a 1-hour time commitment minimum, you play your match, ref a match and support your team members. Please don’t play and then leave!! Every match lasts for 25 minutes with a 5-minute warm up before play begins, the timer will be on an iPad provided.

Scoring is point a rally continuous for 25 minutes, you can never obtain a higher difference that
10 points against your opponent at any given time. Please record each score on the score card provided, we need results for final playoffs and to arrange teams for next go around. One win is recorded as 1 point.

First match of the night to go on is to buy the first round of beer for rest of the team.
We have a courtside beverage service available so please place all orders before 6:35 pm.

Scorecards will be provided and referees are to be fellow team mates.

A social evening full of squash…
please support the rest of your team members,
after all, this is a team event.
There will be prizes for winners and awards
following playoffs on the final week.
